Strutt at SWITCH 2025: Building Smart Mobility Solutions from Singapore for the World

%%SINGAPORE, 7th November 2025%% - Strutt wrapped up a successful three days at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2025, Asia’s premier innovation festival. Held at Marina Bay Sands from October 29-31, SWITCH 2025’s 10th edition brought together over 25,000 attendees, 400+ exhibitors from more than 100 countries, and global innovation leaders. Strutt was proud to be part of this milestone celebration alongside Singapore’s SG60.

The event was marked by two significant ministerial visits that underscored the importance of Strutt’s mission in solving real-world mobility challenges for Singapore and beyond.

%%Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong Visit%%

We were honoured to welcome Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong to our booth on the opening day. DPM Gan learned about our journey from winning the prestigious Red Dot: Luminary award (Singapore’s first win in 16 years) to establishing our manufacturing hub in Singapore. We shared how our Strutt ev¹ aims to deliver automotive technology for personal mobility. The discussion centred on our practical innovation philosophy: while technology could address many futuristic problems, we focus on solving problems that matter now. Mobility in an aging society is one of them.

%%Minister Jeffrey Siow Visit%%

Closing out SWITCH 2025, we had the privilege of welcoming Minister Jeffrey Siow, Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance. With Minister Siow’s portfolio in transport, this visit was significant.

The Strutt ev¹ addresses one of Singapore’s transport challenges: the first- and last-mile connections for our population. Singapore has a world-class accessible infrastructure, including its MRT system, barrier-free routing, and urban design. Our mission is to complement this with our smart personal mobility device, helping people travel safely and independently from their homes to MRT stations, bus stops, hawker centres, and community spaces.

%%Building From Singapore for the World%%

SWITCH 2025 provided the platform to showcase how Singapore serves as our development and production hub. Our presence at the event demonstrated the strength of Singapore’s deep tech ecosystem and the collaborative support from Enterprise Singapore and government agencies.

“SWITCH 2025 has been an incredible validation of our mission,” said Tony Hong, CEO and founder of Strutt. “The support from Deputy Prime Minister Gan, Minister Siow, and Enterprise Singapore reinforces that we’re solving a problem that truly matters, not just for Singapore, but for societies worldwide. Singapore’s world-class infrastructure and pro-innovation environment make it an ideal base for us to develop and manufacture solutions for global markets.”

%%Looking Ahead%%

Building on dual international recognition, the Red Dot: Luminary award and our CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award as the sole winner in the Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility category, Strutt is accelerating our global market expansion strategy.

We’ll be showcasing at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas, marking a significant milestone in our global market penetration with Singapore operations serving as our key development and production hub. Prior to CES 2026, Strutt will host Strutt Day - an exclusive San Francisco event on 13th November 2025. The event will provide media and partners with an in-depth showcase of our technology and strategic vision for smart mobility.

The support from DPM Gan, Minister Siow, and Enterprise Singapore at SWITCH 2025 reinforces our commitment: solving mobility challenges for aging societies isn’t just Singapore’s challenge, it’s a global opportunity we’re positioned to address from our Singapore base.
